Course generator

With the AI Course Generator, you can easily convert existing documents into an online course. This AI-enabled assistant helps you structure content, generate learning modules, and prepare materials for use within the LMS.

How does it work?

1. Upload a document

Upload a file that will serve as the basis for your course. Supported file formats are: PDF, Word, and PowerPoint. The LLM analyzes the content of the document and uses it as the starting point for building the course.

2. Select the learning type

Choose the type of learning experience you want to create:

  • Educational : Focused on knowledge or skill development in the form of a microlearning. AI optimizes and rewrites the content where necessary to make it didactically stronger and more learning-focused.
  • Tutorial : A step-by-step explanation or instruction in the form of a microlearning. The content is kept as literal as possible, so procedures, instructions, and specific wording remain intact.
  • Reference : A reference or troubleshooting guide. The result is a traditional course. Here too, the content is generally kept literal to preserve terminology and exact wording.

The selected learning type determines the structure, tone, and organization of the generated course.

3. Image settings

You can indicate how the Course Generator should handle images:

  • Extract pictures from document : Existing images from the document are reused (depending on the file format, these may be included in the course or offered separately).
  • Find stock photos based on text : Fellow LMS adds relevant stock images based on the content.
  • Do not add pictures : No images are added.

Result

After processing, Fellow LMS generates a structured online course that you can then edit, expand, or publish within the LMS.
